Is the candidate qualified to work in the UK?

The first check we do is to obtain proof of identify and ensure that the candidate is allowed to work in the UK. We ask for appropriate photo ID such as a passport and proof of address.

Are the facts stated in the Candidate's CV correct?

We use our experience to carefully and skilfully question candidates to ensure that they have correctly represented their past work experience and qualifications. We use a probing questioning technique to ensure levels of responsibility claimed and experiences gained are correct.

We also take up references where we can and where appropriate to obtain confirmation of candidate's claims and qualifications.

Understanding clients needs.

We ensure we build a good understanding of the client's recruitment requirements in terms of person specification, role profiles and importantly, the culture of the organisation. We consider it important to have visited your premises, see your work environment for ourselves and meet the managers that candidates will work for.

We interview candidates

We interview all prospective candidates in person. Occasionally, and usually because of time constraints or the candidate living out of area, this may not be possible but we would always undertake a detailed telephone interview and advise you that we have not face to face interviewed the candidate

We match candidates to clients

Only where we believe the candidate has the right knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes do we consider putting them forward to a client. As stated we do this by way of detailed questioning, referencing and where appropriate testing.

We prepare candidates for interview.

We prepare candidates with current information about the client company, the department and the role, and give them some general interview tips so that you see the real person and their genuine abilities.

We follow up with the candidate after interview

We will contact our candidate following their interview to determine that their level of interest in the position is still as strong after meeting with our client and seeing the working environment. This enables us to give honest feedback to you and closely manage the recruitment process from both a candidate and client perspective.
